Our Guide To: Dosewallips State park (Copy)
Living in the PNW, Dosewallips is in our own backyard. We love a campsite that is close and full of adventure. Located on the Hood Canal, you can experience the outdoors without leaving the campground… or a quick car ride puts you in the Olympic National Forest with trails, waterfalls, and secrets waiting to be found.
With lots of activity and places nearby, Dosewallips is a campground we will continue to frequent. We have also heard that some of the local restaurants offer great, unique food and views of the Hood Canal.
Pro tips: Make sure you pack some bug spray… being right on the water can invite these critters to frequent your campsite. Bring water shoes… walking on the rocks can be tough; water shoes make it a bit easier. Hike the area and have fun.
